ADVOCACY
ALBANY MOBILIZATION
Each year, the NAACP New York State Conference convenes branch leaders, advocates, students, community members, and partners from across the state in Albany to engage directly with lawmakers on issues impacting Black communities throughout New York.
Albany Mobilization, also known as Lobby Day, creates space for advocacy, civic engagement, coalition building, and policy discussions centered around advancing civil rights, equity, and justice statewide.
The annual mobilization supports the State Conference’s legislative priorities, including voting rights, criminal justice reform, education equity, environmental justice, and health equity.
