NAACP New York State Conference Endorses New York for All

The NAACP New York State Conference formerly endorsed ‘New York for All’ at its 1st Quarterly Meeting of 2026. This endorsement is reflective of the NAACP’s broader commitment and long history of fighting for civil liberties and human rights. On the heels of the murder of Renee Good in Minneapolis, there are renewed demands that New York State must prohibit local governments from utilizing resources or coordinating with federal enforcement officials who have demonstrated a lack of respect of the rule of law and a complete disregard for human dignity. The State Conference has made New York for All a top legislative priority for 2026 and will host its annual Lobby Day in Albany on March 4th.
