Flyer
On Thursday, June 19th at 5:30 PM, the NAACP Port Chester-Rye Branch, Port Chester Historical Society, and ArtsWestchester will host a community Juneteenth celebration at the historic Bush-Lyon Homestead (believed to be quarters for enslaved people), located at 479 King Street in Port Chester, NY.
This free, family-friendly event will feature live music, spoken word, food, storytelling, and crafts. All are invited to join in this powerful evening that honors Juneteenth—our nation’s newest federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.
