Founded in 1954, the Empire State Branch of the NAACP is committed to advancing civil rights, equity, and justice across our community. Through strong advocacy, community programming, and coalition-building, our branch works to ensure every resident is informed, empowered, and protected.

We are proud to serve neighborhoods across the Capital Region and beyond with initiatives that support education equity, youth leadership, voter engagement, and economic opportunity.
